16 Months Old - Carter's Chronicles

At 15 months and 1 day I learned how to shake my head no...it has proven very handy!

I can go down the tunnel slide at the park all by myself now.

I LOVE motorcycles.  Anytime I see them on the road I get really excited.  Anytime I see one in a parking lot I have to get a closer look - they are so cool.

Every night when I put on my pajama shirt my hands always seem to get stuck in the sleeve.  When my hand pops out of the sleeve I yell "Bye Bye" because now I have my hand back - how else would I wave bye bye without it?

During the family bedtime routine in my room one night I grabbed my reading corner pillow and went into Leah's room to be by myself.  I laid my head on my pillow and said "Shhhhh" with my finger to my lips.  I was really tired.

As mentioned before, I shake my head to signify no.  To confirm or say yes I have adopted the cutest giggle ever!

Everyone around me seems to be very busy and have places to go - work, school, errands, playdates, ballet.  So, I like to play and pretend I have places to go as well.  I pack up my things and say "Bye Bye" to my family and head down the hallway.  I don't get too far without running back and seeing if they are still there.

My first sentence - When Daddy went upstairs and I was on the couch downstairs I pointed and said "Da Da Bye Bye."

Never a Missed Smile!

I wasn't even in the photoshoot and I still was smiling the biggest smile that I could on the sidelines!

Pool Party

Let's Get Ready to Rumble

Leah had a sleepover the night before so she wasn't home.  We were so happy to resume our nightly "calming down" ritual of wrestling when she came back.  Every time Mommy sets out some books and lowers the lights right before bed we tend to choose this activity instead.  It is hard for Mommy to intervene because she loves to hear us giggle so much while we are wrestling.
