My Big Trip - Day Six - The Fun Continues

Pier 5, please!

First on the agenda today was a cruise around the Hudson to see the Statue of Liberty. 

Then, we walked through Battery Park to visit a playground.   

I am always pointing out the sights for the family.

In a city of 8.2 residents, I have probably waved hello to at least 7 million of them.  Today, I realized I hadn't waved to myself, so I did!

My favorite part of the day was visiting Union Square.  There were skateboarders doing tricks, drummers drumming and best of all I joined in a game of hackey sack.  

My Big Trip - Day Five - Roar!

I got to ride the subway today on the way to The Natural History Museum.  I love, love, love trains!  I was trying really hard to say the word train myself, but didn't get past the "t".

Next, we went to the Central Park Zoo.  I really liked seeing the animals move - much different than the museum!

When I saw these birds, I grabbed the camera and gave it to Mommy because I wanted her to take this picture.

My favorite animal at the Zoo was the red panda.  He was running around, through logs and climbing trees.  He was fun to watch.

Next, was FAO Schwartz.  I found this little friend to hug.  

My Big Trip - Day Four - The Big City

First, we walked around the Big City.  They aren't kidding when they call it that - I had to crane my neck every which way so that I could see everything.

I loved watching the cards, bikes, buses, taxis, horses! and ambulances.

Then, I got to stretch my legs a little at Bryant Park...

...and ride a carousel. 

More car watching.

I am the official pointer-outer of birds, lights or flags.  Here I am in action.

Lights in the Big City! 

Leah and I tie as the official silly representative.  I am doing a pretty good job here! 

 I love making elevators even more fun and pretending they are roller coasters.

My Big Trip - Day One - Traveling

We traveled all day to get to New York, but I didn't mind.  I loved making friends with everyone on the plane, getting to eat special treats and looking out the window of the plane.  I started my nap before we took off our second flight, when we awoke and Mom pulled up the window shade I said "Up, up" because I could tell we were high in the sky!  I am an expert airplane spotter when I am on the ground, so it was fun to be the one in the clouds this time.
